Why does it have to be the patriarchal view of it though?...

I have to constantly ask myself if I'm willing to do the

 to have the lifestyle my family deserves.

I'm kinda Super Stoked about this NEW linky party...Me, Myself, and I...specifically since I have't done an official ABOUT ME page for my blog...I'm excited to let my BLESSINGS and hopefully new Blessings (my readers- to-come get to know me better...and even more STOKED about getting to know my new BLOGGIES (blog buddies) that I've recently met/followed....

1. What is your biggest phobia? - 
I'm sooooo scared of not doing anything with my life...I have so many ideas and great plans and hopes and dreams...after graduating from college and having two kids after that its been harder to get back into the swing of things in the working world...

2. If you could relive any day of your life what would it be and why? -
 I would probably want to relive My hubby's and my dating days...we were so fun and spontaneous...we did whatever whenever...we had time and money to do things...LOL!...
Now we have no time, little money, and three kids...Date nights are constantly in my prayers. 
But praise God, slowly but surely we're getting back to that. (Yeah Buddy!!)


3. If you could stay a certain age forever, what age would you be? - 
Maybe 24...legal but not fresh bait...experienced...been around the block for a bit so I'd know what to expect. Yet, I'm still young and spunky...full of energy...more guts to do and try new things.


4. Which celebrity do you get mistaken for? - 
Normally no celebs...I'm always mistaken for someone people actually think they know...
BUT... I've been told that I look the singer, Mya.

Here's the weekly recap:

1.  Half of last week was FREAKIN' gloomy and depressing...and RAIN?!?!...all I have to say is BOO ON THE WEATHER'S LIFE.

2. 2/3 of the B-Boys went to visit some of Jaden's friends from school. They live in Marina Del Rey, just walking distance from Mother's Beach...So I had to get a photo opp of the fellas with the BEST Jedi knight poses on our way to the beach...Get it, BOYS!!

3. Mary Kay ALL DAY!!...#thatisall

4. My mom wants her next dog to be a beagle...we both LOVE Snoopy...who wouldn't want Snoopy as a pet?!?...Although he'd probably be more my HOMIE than anything else...we would do ABSOLUTELY everything together...shop, eat...DANCE...but this beagle right here...is AMAZEballs HUGE...didn't know they could get this big...Not too sure I want my Snoopy to get THIS big. =/

5. Landan's first corn dog.  Yes...he ate the WHOLE corn dog.

6. Jaden GROOVIN' while eating...what??...Don't tell me YOU don't groove when your meal is the bomb...#sideeye

7.  SICK...and as of today...still sounding like General Grievous from Star Wars.

8. Sitting back waiting to see which B-Boy is going to get hurt first...I tell them ONE time to stop playing rough before someone get hurts...and after that if they choose to continue...they need only to expect one thing = CASUALTIES. #sideeye

9. Sippin' on some sizzurp!!...Limeaid...yuuuuuuuuummmmmmm.

10. Monday's lunch at the mall with the B-Boys and 1/2 of the parentals (my mom).

11. Handy Landy. You couldn't tell him NUTHIN'...he just knew that HE KNEW what HE was doing.

12. My babe getting his preachin' on...so proud of him. He did so well...well, he always does...and his analogies and applications are ALWAYS the best!...He made a reference of how the Power of the Holy Spirit is like the Power of Grey Skull (He-Man fans out there??...She-Ra??...) in how it can transform you and renew your mind just how it was only by the power of Grey Skull that Prince Adam could change into He-Man...then he had the nerve to show a clip...smh...#comedy

Turned Off...

This week has been quite..."off." The weather has been totally off...My body and health has been totally off...my mindset, normal sense of optimism, and will to do absolutely ANYTHING has been COMPLETELY off. =/

Dear Christine - PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER!...Stop feeling down and out...YES, you are allowed to have these days, but ENOUGH, already...build a bridge and get over it, girl...Do what you need to do to feel good inside and out...Think of the good things going on in life...and just DO...and DON'T worry...Do what you can do and let God do the rest....Give it all up to Him...

Week in Pics!!

This past week was AMAZEballs (thanks Ericas for that new vocab)! A lot of family time, fun, movies, amusement parks (not documented...sorry) and of course, tomfoolery took place.  Here's what went down:

Here's what my 4th of July looked like:

1. My brother parading Landan around after he got back from work. 

2. My Independence Day Swag. 

3. Good Ole Woody's BBQ...too hot actually cook that day.  

4. Throwing up the Two Fingers...as always. 

5. Tryna get their lives together for the photo opp.  

6. 2/3 of the B-Boys finally got it together for the pic.

As for the rest of the week:

1. **singing to self** "Its a beautiful day in the neighborhood..." for a walk.  

2. Kai testing out the new tent and tunnel Granny bought.  

3. Landan tearing up the new tent and tunnel Granny just bought. 

4. Still on this shirt...LOVE IT.  

5. AND still on the duces pic...its what I do...You'll seldom see a pic of me without my fellow fingers. 

6. Super geeked about to watch the Amazing Spiderman...wasn't it GOOD?!?!...and YEA for the new Peter Parker...WAAAYYY better than the last one...sorry Toby.  

7. The Greedy Mites...they just always seem to magically pop up anytime food is in sight.  

8. Bryant Summer School is session...still have to be on the educational grind...even during the summer.  

9. Landan FINALLY gets his turn at the Beyblade stadium...are anyone else's kids up on this new phenomenon?!?

I'm Gonna Write a Letter...

Dear Kai,


As much as I love you and want to give you the world and a bag of chips, I CANNOT give you a new Jaden.  I know you've asked twice this week for a new one and I totally understand why.  I can't relate firsthand since I've never been a middle child, but I do know how it feels to be left out of all the fun or not wanting to be played with...Sometimes, since Jaden is older than you, he'e gonna want to play by himself...he's almost 10 years old and he wants some time to himself...and that's not a bad thing...


So as much as I like to give you all your hearts desires, another JADEN is just not physically possible.  I would HATE to go through the trouble of trying to produce one for you and be a complete and total failure in your eyes when Mommy comes home with a newborn baby...not a brand shiny new 10 year old Jaden...and a GIRL at that!


I hope you understand what Mommy is trying to explain to you and pray that you will consider keeping the Jaden we already have and making the best of things.

P.S. Wait 5 years from now and you see for yourself what Jaden is going through...'Cause you'll be on that side of the fence then with Landan informing me that he's ready for a new Kai.
